In his early years, Ronald participated in race car events and later became the pit manager for his son Scott in motocross races. He loved boating with Carol, their daughter Doreen and Joseph Costanzo, and their grandchildren on Fire Island. Ronald also enjoyed watching sports on television, especially cheering for his New York teams.
