Herman Loheide, age 89, of North Merrick on February 22, 2016
He served in the Navy during World War II . He was the owner with his son Karl of K&H Carpentry in North Merrick.
Beloved husband of Marilyn. Devoted father of Linda M. Loheide, Diane Gorish and Karl H. Loheide. Father in law of Robert S. Gorish, Jr. Loving grandfather of Robert S. Gorish, lll and
Stephanie D. Gorish.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25 at St . Francis Episcopal Church, 2408 5th Street, East Meadow,, NY with Rev. Father Marc Genszler officiating. Interment with Naval Honors will be in Greenfield Cemetery.
Visiting will be Wednesday, February 24 from 2-4&7-9PM at N. F. Walker Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
