Doris Hoffmann, age 86, of Merrick died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Freeport, NY. Mrs. Hoffmann was born in 1925 in the Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late Gustav and the late Elise (Bjornsen) Mortensen. She married Roy S.Hoffmann. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy S. Hoffmann in 1977.
The Hoffman's owned the Roy S. Hoffmann Insurance Agency on Merrick Avenue in Merrick.
She is survived by two daughters: Linn Cartagena of Merrick, NY, Lisa Gruber; ;
Memorial Visitation will be Friday, August 5 from 2-5 & 7-9PM at N. F. Walker, Inc., 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY.
